The Revolabs xTag is a lipstick tube size lapel USB microphone. It is extremely elegant, functional and compact. The transmitter is the size of pack of cigarettes.

You’ll find an On/mute button not only on the microphone, but on the base unit as well. The base unit is about the size of a cigarette pack. The best news is that it draws its recharging and transmitting power directly from the USB port. Battery life is up to eight hours. The battery can receive 80% of this charge in one half hour.

The audio is super clear with a range up to 100 feet. In addition, it is the most secure wireless system we have tested and even meets HIPPA medical information guidelines. It can coexist with wireless LANs and Cellular phones.

The Revolabs xTag wireless microphone works superbly for speech recognition in a quiet environment. We do not recommend this microphone for speech recognition if you have even a moderately noisy environment.

Applications include video conferencing, tele-conferencing, web conferencing, distance learning, sound re-enforcement, audio capture, speech recognition, transcription, webcasting, podcasting, legal depositions, panel sessions, and many more.
